java and Jaguar

Neither Apple nor anyone else has mentioned improved use of java as a benefit of Jaguar. However, in the week that I've used Jaguar, I've been able to play games on jaguar-powered sites without ANY problems. Until Jaguar I had to use OS 9 browsers to play online games, as in OS X much of the site was darkened and unable to be read (in the 5 browsers I've used). Now I go to OS 9 only for my 750-recipe Filemaker file and that's because I don't want to buy an expensive new version.
