Yahoo! for years, always reliable - though not very Mac-friendly and they have removed POP3/SMTP access for free.
.mac ever since iTools, will remain to use as main email until Apple asks me for money.

Why these free email services? Universal access is nice, plus my ISP does not provide email accounts.

I'm surprised that the poll didn't include Eudora. I've got several mail accounts checked at once, and has a huge number of user-configurable settings. Eudora 5.1 for OS X works great for me.
Plus I hate having my email stored in a Microsoft one-way honeypot. Having Eudora's standard mailbox formats lets me use it with confidence that I'm not beholden to whatever MS decides I need next. :D

I'll second that emotion. Eudora or nothing.

I don't think he's talking about what do you use to check the e-mail, I think he means where do you get your mail (IMAP, POP3, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc...).
He forgot POP3 and IMAP.

If you will read the first line it says EMAIL PROGRAM. I think that refers to programs like Eudora and yes Eudora rocks. I personally haven't found anything better.
