Scanner problem

Hi Folks.

I have a G4 running OS 10.3.9, and a Microtek Scanmaker S400 scanner that has a slide adapter. I used it for the first time a few months ago (using their Scanwizard 5 software [v. 7.5]), with no problem. But I tried to do so again recently, and all I get is a message that says "Error message= -151." FYI, the scanner works fine when the slide adapter is not on. I contacted the folks at Microtek for help, but they want to charge me big bucks for troubleshooting. Anyone out there have any info they can share?

might be worth trying the latest driver 7.5.3.something...

Microtek haven't earned the name Microshit for nothing... their support and release of drivers is a joke. I had a X12 and binned it after waiting years for them never to release the right drivers!
