Computer Crash = Lost Library

How do I restore my old library to my computer and not wipe out all the songs on my ipod nano? When I connect my ipod I get a message that wants to create a new library.

1) Read the Apple docs that are linked in a sticky thread at the top of this forum.

2) Look into setting iTunes to do "manual sync" with your iPod.

3) Look on www.macupdate.com for utilities to transfer songs from the iPod to the Mac.
