Organizing music

I'm getting strange organization on my iPod.
For instance I have Black Eye Peas. I have a couple songs from the Elephunk album and a couple songs from the Monkey Business album. Elephunk is fine. ! folder for the album with 2 songs in the folder. For Monkey Business I have two songs but the album is listed twice with one song in each folder.

I have artist listed this same way. On my iPod I have two eminem folders with 1 song from the Marshall Mathers album in one folder and 2 songs from the same album in another eminem folder.

Any suggestions on how I can better organize this? In iTunes everything is spelled correctly. No typos or anything like that.

Not sure if this helps, but how about rebuilding your database?

Are you 100% sure that no typos? Most likely, there'll be a invisible space at the end of the artist/album names. Music puchased at iTunes don't have this issue. But, if you import MP3 tag data from CDDB, then user who submitted data might have make mistakes. If you illegally download music, the mp3 tags are horrible as far as I know.

You might also have extra spaces in between words.
