i have loaded 27 gb into my ipod video but when i was finished i have now noticed the volume is almost undetectable, i have tried volume check, eq etc all to no avail, i think i need to reset the volume on all my tracks(around 6500) i dont know if this is possible and would hate to have to start all over again, please help b4 ipod goes out of window!!!!:confused:

are they all too quiet? even with the volume up all the way? It sounds like the iPod is new so its probably under warranty anyway. If you do want to try to up the volume on all the tracks, select a song, hit cmd-a to select all songs. then hit cmd-i to get the info. Theres a volume adjustment there that can double or half the volume of the tracks

This could be hardware-related issue. For resetting the volumes for all the tracks, you can make a back up for somewhere.

Did you try resetting your iPod? With iPod resetted, your iPod should work just as it just came out of the box (factory setting).
