Restrict access to my mail server with TCP wrappers

I get lots of attempts to use my mail server that I set up only for my use when I'm away from home. I have my specific work IP address set in main.cf so only I have access but I want to stop access before that by restricting access by IP to SMTP port using TCP wrappers. Can anyone help me do this or tell me where I can get detailed step-by-step information?
