Cannot get Shuffle to connect

I was listening to my Shuffle today when it began to play static. I checked the battery and it was still green. I decided to try resetting it, but have not been able to get my Mac or my PC to recognize it to do the reset. I left it charging for the better part of the day, and it actually seems to play fine now, but I cannot get it to connect. I've rebooted both computers and my Nano works fine.

Any ideas guys?
