Exporting songs from I-Pod

I might be stupid but I just cannot manage to transfer songs from my I-Pod to my wifes computers Library? Anyone who can give some advice as I have already searched all manuals etc. Thanks ;)

You can only sync an iPod to 1 computer..... its done like this so people dont copy/steal/distribute music illegally. There are apps that allow you to exract songs from your iPod onto other computers... but I dont know of the legality of it...
