this is from the terminal:
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 81: fileclass: cannot open /etc/mail/local-host-names:
Thanks to macoshints again I got xwindows etc ... going ... working on ssh right now .... :D
while working in the terminal I got the above error ...
looks like sendmail is the culprit ... also found this djwudi.dyndns.org (http://www.djwudi.com/osxhacks.shtml) which confirmed what I was thinking.
2 questions:
how do I check the permissions for the root ( / ) directory?
and
is this a problem error? I really don't need sendmail and ... since I don't have a static ip
any advice is appreciated.
