I have a 200mb NAS on my wireless router right now (connected with an ethernet cable). I can access the setup onboard the NAS just fine but I do not know how to access it through the Finder. The drive must be FAT32 formatted and currently is. I Its IP address is recieved from the router and is currently 192.168.2.3. Its set to WORKGROUP and its name is FRED. Ive enabled Windows Filee sharing but I'mm just not seeing it in my network area. My windows xp laptop can see it fine. How can I access this darn thing?

I'm running Tiger 10.4.8 and I need you guys to know that I'm a recent switcher and a total mac noob. So please speak slowly.

Have you tried using "Connect to Server" and typing in the "smb://192.168.2.3" URL like explained in this "Switcher 101" doc?
