lost my music (Help!!!)

I recently moved and my computer stayed in my old house. I tried importing the songs from my ipod to my pc, but accidentaly lost my music. Please tell me that i can get my music back.

I'm puzzled; do you mean you tried to access your computer from your new location (via internet connection), and copy the music from your ipod to your old computer, or are you saying that you tried to copy music from your ipod to a new, different computer?

When you connect to itunes, is the occupied space on your ipod consistant with there still being music there?

I have a pc, so I would use explorer to look in the folders to see what's there.
If you are running a pc, there is a donationware program called Sharepod, which enables you to share your ipod music. http://www.sturm.net.nz/website.php?Section=iPod+Programs&Page=SharePod.
You may be able to retrieve your music with this. Even if you are running a mac, surely you must know someone with a pc who could retrieve it. Good Luck!

Did you deleted your music? There is a program named iPod data recovery, but it seems to only work on windows.
