Wow, today was quite weird.
I was listening to my iPod in class today, and a friend of mine wanted to look through the songs on my iPod. So I let him see it (While the earbuds were still in my ears, and I was watching him), and he scrolls through the artists, when suddenly, the iPod just dies. Screen goes blank, no warnings, nothing.
I immediately suspected the battery. I had my MacBook with me, so I asked another friend if I could use his dock connector cable. I plugged in my iPod, and there was no sign of any activity. Nothing at all. iTunes wouldn't see the iPod, the iPod wouldn't charge, etc. I even booted into Windows, and still, no avail. At that point, I tried resetting the iPod, and it still wouldn't start up.
So, later that day, when I had more time to screw with it, I tried putting it into disk mode. Lo and behold, it started up in disk mode. Having power flowing through the iPod, I then reset it, and it started up, with a full battery (So much for that...).
While my iPod is indeed working now (Restored it to be on the safe side), would anyone know why it did this?
Thanks in advance.
