Get music out off iPod

i can do this with the first machine i plug my iPod but can not do that when i bring it to another machine! Even that is an Apple machine.?
Why?

Its called DRM (Digital Rights Managment) it stops you giving out your music to everybody. Look on www.macupdate.com for 'El iPodo'.

you can get around this by using podUtil, it lets you save your songs from your iPod to your mac.
The new version is called music rescue...

it does take a while tho, cos it does the migration song by song. But it works.

Another option out there is http://fadingred.org/senuti/ Never used it myself so I cannot attest to how well it works.
