new ipod for OS9

i have iMac G3 DV model sage with Mac OS9 . iam plaing to buy new iPod shuffle or ipod nano. i want to know that can i use this ipods in my iMac G3 ( Mac OS9 )...model.???????

Maybe as a flash drive, but they seem to require newer version of iTunes than will (ever) be on OS 9. In fact, 10.3.9 or later is needed for iTunes 7.0.2.

I think it's time to upgrade. ;)

You can purchase a copy of 10.3 for as little as ~$10-15 on eBay. Be sure to get the full retail version, not some upgrade or restore disk
