Whenever I try to put a movie on my iPod, half way through the process my progress bar freezes. So I try to forcequit iTunes, and that won’t work. Then I try to disconnect my iPod, and after I try that my Mac freezes.
This happenes everytime.
Help me please.

hey mang,
i may have had a similar problem. i too have the 80 gigger, and have had the progress bar freeze on me multiple times for multiple things. first was my first day using it. i had like 30-40 gigs of music i was putting on all at once.... and i noticed after a few minutes, maybe ten, i don't remember, that it appeared that itunes had stalled out on me. i did the force quite thing like you were. but then tried a couple more times, same result.
so i got thinking, it is a ridiculously large amount of data for an incredibly slow drive (the ipods) so why not just let it look stalled out, and let it sit there for a while. and well that worked.
it happens when i sync certain movies to the ipod too. it will start out all nice, but then itunes looks like its frozen. towards the end of the transfers, the progress bar 'unfreezes'. just walk away for a little bit. come back, and most likely it will have transfered. greatest answer in the world no, but a tribute.
i would start trying just one movie at a time and walk away for an arbitrary amount of time. ten minutes/ half hour, i don't really know, i would base it on the size of the file. i really don't know the transfer rate to ipods, so forgive me for leaving everythign arbitrary and not fully answered. but this method has worked for me. and it really is surprising how long it takes some files to go back and forth on the ipod.
if this doesn't work, lets try to get some more details or something.
