Hey, I reformatted my computer today and used my iPod as my backup device. It had some issues but I got most everything off of it. (It's dying) The music survived but iTunes said my iPod was corrupt, even though it still actually works. So, I copied all the hidden files off of the iPod to my desktop and reformatted the iPod. But now I'm not sure how to add all the hidden files (F00, F01 and so on) back to my iPod because they're hidden and the File>add to Library in iTunes can't see hidden files. Is there anyway to make the files unhidden? (I can see them, but there still technically hidden to iTunes.)

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I guess I should have had a different thread name, that's what I get for writing at 1 in the morning.

You can use an AppleScript to toggle hidden files on/off in the Finder. It's linked to somewhere in this forum so just do a search or something.

Sorry maybe I wasn't specific enough, that's not my problem, I can see them. I used terminal to show hidden files, but to iTunes they are still invisible and can't be seen or added.

I actually got a utility named XRay that can change the hidden bit on files to make them visible like any other regular file. iTunes makes like it's adding some of the songs, it says processing but then it just stops and nothing is added. A few google searches have brought up nothing.
