Ipod to Itunes

hi, i have an old 20G ipod and when i got my new computer the tech guy
lost my itunes in transferring. therefore my itunes is empty but my ipod is
full. is there a way that i can get back all my songs to the itunes without
starting from scratch?

there are a host of applications out there to help you out. http://www.fadingred.org/senuti/ -senuti is one for os x. googling does wonders for this. or if you're really bored, you can access it via terminal as it doesn't mount on /Volumes/ipods name but that would take some time for more then a few tracks. but then again, maybe you are a masochist.

Senuti (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/23390) works well from what i've heard. I've never actually used it though.
