Display File details on the ipod

I recently switched from an Sony Walkman to an ipod (I finally got fed up that I couldn't use it at home with my mac!) One thing I liked was the fact that you could see file information, things like compression format and bit rate on the player itself. Is it possible to display this information on the ipod? I have a 5.5G ipod video

to the best of my knowledge using a 5.5g ipod for like uhhh, a while now, i would have to say that your answer is no. don't think i'd really care for bit rate and what not, but might be nice to be able to see comments or other fields of info about tracks and stuff. sorry man.

I thought of a way, a bit mad... I could add the file details as lyrics, then they would show up. I just need now to figure out how to do that with the Automator!
