I have a 4th gen 20 gb ipod that I can turn on and go into all the menus but when I hook it up to itunes it never shows up in the list to download songs on it. When I hook it up it never gets ther menu that tells you not to disconnect your ipod. It just stays at the normal ipod start menu.
I'm using windows XP os. Also I can get to the Diagnostic menu/disk mode but it still doesn't show up. I have tried two USB cables thinking it might be a faulty cable. The unit is fully charged.
Any help would be great/Thanks in advance.
