I guess most of you have seen this website:
http://geektechnique.org/projectlab/759/the-ipod-mini-remastered-now-with-16gb

They have a blog on how to refit your iPod Mini with a CF flash card!

I am shopping for a friend who might want to do this, but I can't figure out which kind of card to buy. Apparently the cards have to be ATA compatible, but most CF cards don't print that on the outside of the package.

Asking the salespeople in BKK is an exercise in futility, so can anyone give me some pointers on choosing the correct type of CF card? I've seen Kingston (with the Gecko sticker), Transcend, and one or two other brands.

I've downloaded the documentation from Transcend, and they state clearly that the memory is ATA compatible. I'm still looking over the Kingston specs for any clues.
