Whenever i eject my ipod...

Hey
I have a G4 ibook. I plug in my ipod to charge, but i don't want it to update, I try to eject it so that whenever I need it i can just take it off. Whenever I try to eject it from itunes or from the desktop, iTunes quits.

I have gimmesometunes installed (look at mac homepage under itunes + ipod downloads)

After you connect your ipod select it in your itunes bar on the right. Then check the box manually manage music and videos. This should stop the auto update.
