NANO photo editing and itunes exporting

I know this is probably covered in this forum and is a basic question but how do I export an entire itunes library of songs from my powermac desktop to my ibook itunes on my network? I also have put in may photos and many I want to delete from the nano, how do I do that? Thanks.

first copy all of the files to your ibook, either by afp, or smb, or ftp. i like afp personally (just allow personal file sharing in sharing in system prefs. for afp). if the ibook has no library of its own you can just copy the entire itunes music folder over the one in place now. following that just export library under file in itunes. and then import that library in itunes on the ibook.

another way is to mount the powermacs drive on your ibook, in itunes, add all files to itunes, and consolidate your library, which will do all of the copying to its nice file structure for you.
