Ipod playlist back-up

so, i have an ipod, and i am about to format my win xp (fat 32) hardrive. i have my mp3s and crap saved on an external hardrive so thast no big deal, but i do want to save my library. i dont want to backup my library, i just want to save all the file paths and preferences (compilations, shuffle/no shuffle, gapless album) that kind of thing. i sthere anyway to save a file so i can restore all these setting without going through my 50 gig library and doing it by hand??? thanks.

export your current library. not sure where that is in the menu system in windows. then when everything is reinstalled and all, just import that library. assuming the file paths are the same everythign should be kosher.
