iLife Sound Effects copyright?

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this...but does anyone know what the Apple policy is on reuse/redistribution of the iLife Sound Effects in /library/audio/apple loops/apple/iLife Sound Effects?

I'm specifically interested in using one in a podcast intro/opening that might eventually make its way to apple hq.

I assume it's all copyright-ed but I swear some the Alarm.aif in the Sci-Fi folder sounds exactly like the alarm sound in Halo, and then I though perhaps short generic sounds like these can't really be copyrighted...? Or perhaps a little tweak to the audio would fix that :D?

If you look through the lengthy text you clicked past in the install process (or was referenced when you set up the computer) it will tell you everything you need to know. Very likely something like "non-commercial use permitted".

If it's going to end up at Apple HQ and it's a not-for-profit item I wouldn't worry about it. Steve should be happy you're using his samples :D
