iPod as a photobank

Is there a way to download the photos from camera directly into ipod?
I've seen the iWay device, but what about the CF cards?

The thing is I am going on a long journey with my nikon digital camera, and would like (if there is a way) to bring only ipod with me to download the photos from the camera or the CF card.

Get a Belkin card reader, and the Apple M9861G/A iPod Camera Connector. Place the card inside the reader, and connect the reader to the iPod, via the camera connector. You can also just connect your camera directly to the iPod, using the Connector, but this sucks the batter power from *both* the iPod, and your camera. This is how I travel, and it works just fine for me.
