Oky well me and my sister both have ipod rightt. And only one itunes so I put my songs on my ipod. Then my sis is like "Well remove them so I can put mine on my ipod I don;t want your songs on my ipod." So I did and now if I plug it back in all my songs will be gone off my ipod. So just wondering is there anyway to make two folders or something one with my music in it and one with hers?

Make different play lists, then use the play list to copy songs to your iPod. There may be a third party application that you can use in junction with multiple iPods but you'd have to google search it. Or someone else could chime in with additional ideas.

can't different users have different itunes libraries? you could have a user account for yourself, and then your sister could have one for her. She could have all her music on her account, and you'd have your's.

I'm pretty sure that'd work, though I only have one user on my system, so I can't be certain.

ok i not sure if this is the solution that your looking for but if you have two different user accounts you can do this:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93195

you create you own itunes library with you sisters music.

be sure you de-select the "Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library file" in the advanced pane so you dont double the library on you HD.

If she adds extra music, you can you the file > add to library and select the artist or album from the finder window.

Can seem complicated but its not.

Your can also do what the other users said above sync you ipod with a specific playlist

ok hope this helps.

can't different users have different itunes libraries

Correct.. and download one of the itunes lib. manager apps around the web to dictate what lib to load @ startup.

This is the easiest solution:
1.Hit the new playlist button (the little + at the bottom of the screen)
2.Add the songs you want on your iPod to the playlist
3.Plug in your iPod
4.In the iPod window, click on the tab that says Music
5.Click on the button that says "Selected playlists
6.Click on the box next to your playlist
7.Hit the Sync button

that's all you need to do…
