Using iTalk with iPod in a soft case

Hi! This is sort of a minor problem, but I was wondering if anyone knows of an "extension cord" or something I could use. I want to keep my iPod in the nice soft case, so that it stays scratch-free. However, I just got the Griffin iTalk and it won't fit into the plug when the iPod is in the case! Does an extension cord or other coupling device exist? Thanks in advance!

depends on the soft case, you may be able to modify its jack opening to fit the italk into it.

Thanks- I don't think I'm going to be able to modify it. It's too thick. Any other ideas??

I found this item on eBay, and I'm sure it is sold elsewhere as well: SendStation Dock Extender. It is just a little gadget made for this very problem. It looks like it will do the trick!!!
