Hi, Im a beginner to the iPod - and just got myself the 160GB Classic...
Only then to realize that my MacBook has only 120GB...
Is there a way to fill-up the iPod (or somewhere near capacity), without filling-up iTunes?
Thanks in advanced...

Yes, you can use an external drive with your MacBook and store your iTunes Library on the external drive.
There have been several hints on the main Mac OS X Hints site http://macosxhints.com explaining how to use an external drive with your iTunes Library.

Alternately, it is very quick and easy to upgrade the HDD in a MacBook.
If you are dealing with an iPod Classic that is already filled with content, then yes, you'll need an external HD or upgraded MacBook HD. However, if you need to fill it with content on your MacBook, you needn't upgrade anything. You'll never fill your iPod Classic with content from your MacBook alone as your MacBook's HD is smaller.
