Delay In Posts/Replies

Hey. I'm a new member here, and I just wanted to ask a few questions (mainly just for clarification).

I have been posting replies to a thread I started (http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?t=80185), but it looks like all of my replies are still being held for moderation. Also, I can't access all of the areas in my user control panel.

After reading a somewhat similar post (http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?t=79978), I think this is just because I'm a new member. However, I just wanted to make sure this was normal and that something wasn't going wrong.

Yup, that's how it works. The first few posts of a new member are reviewed by a real person. It's our way of keeping spam out of the forums.

You should be good to go normally now.
