hey all
does any one know how to enable my new ipod touch for disk space in itunes because the ipod help viewer was no help it told me wrong.

I've never found this step necessary. If I have free space on my iPod, I can use that space as an external drive. The iPod just has to be mounted in Finder instead of iTunes, and the free space is available, without "enabling" it. As far as I can tell, all enabling free space does is keep iTunes from filling that space automatically.

Disclaimer: I haven't used an iPod as an external drive in about a year, so Apple could have changed this.

Neither the iPod Touch nor the iPhone support disk mode usage.
