Hi Everyone,

I sent my daughters IPOD in to be repaired in September because it would not turn on. We tried all the trouble shooting ideas and nothing so we sent it off to Apple. They replaced the IPOD which was awesome :-)

Sadly since we got it back my daughter has not been able to watch movies on it.

My husband transferred the movies to the IPOD but they wont play...you can fast forward it and then see a still picture but no movement and no sound...

He tried adding these movies to my other daughters IPOD to be sure he is doing it right and they work fine...

Any ideas???

I assume you've tried restoring it, and trying again? I see this with music quite often, and a restore usually fixes it. Also, with a bunch of data being transfered at once, it might be hard to spot an item that's not quite right. I would pick a few things you know are working and test the ipod with those items and known working USB cable. Apple might have given you a previously repaired iPod, that has a problem that was not picked up. It's possible you have a bad logic board. I've seen that cause issues like this one before. I you do have a problem make sure you get it back to Apple before the warranty ends. Also, if you did get a free "refub" unit, and it's still in warranty, I would suggest grabbing the AppleCare for it.
