iChat addresses

I was wondering, since iChat now has screen sharing, might it be wise to set up some way to easily exchange iChat addresses? It might be easier to fix some peoples problems if you could get onto their desktop. Granted, you don't want people just grabbing your address...but just an easier way to exchange them...

Well, maybe PM's are enough for that, but I just thought I'd bring this up to see if someone else had any ideas regarding this...

are you thinking for users on this forum?...? Now thats not a bad idea! You could help people instantly!...I suppose you could have your iChat address in your user CP.... and you have to 'accept' peoples requests after all.......You could put a lot of Mac Techs out of a job though!

I use screen share over googlechat to help fix my GF's computer problems... it works sweet.

Yeah, or mayhaps we could have a sticky with a list of people who are willing to do the iChat thing if someone really needs it. Perhaps some of us even could charge a nominal fee, I suppose it just matters on who you are.
