I have a 4th gen ipod 20gb, that does mounts and shows up in itunes.
itunes says that it is corupted and needs to restore, but when i try to it fails and says:
Error
The data partition could not be found and could not be formatted. Disconnect iPod, reconnect and then try restoring again.
reconnecting doesn't work, in disk utility's the ipod shows up as a 2 tb ipod
with no partitions.
does anyone know how i can fix without going to the apple shop???
since fixing it may cost more than a new ipod.
