Does anyone know if I can incorporate one of the new Apple "Time Capsule" NAS 'Time-Machine' compatible hard drives into my home network if I DO NOT intend on using it as my primary router (I already have a good one I like)?

Essentially, I would strictly want to use the device for remote Time Machine backups from multiple Mac's in my household...

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

Log into the router and turn off the wireless protocol.

There's no reason to turn off the Wireless feature and doing so would hinder it's features. You can use the router in Bridge mode to extend the field of your primary router and keep all of its functions.
