Can't Unminimize

At some point, I minimized a window of OpenOffice in X11. Now I want to go back to it, but clicking on its icon in the Dock does nothing. It is possible that the program crashed, because OpenOffice does not appear when I do "ps -ax", but I don't understand why it would still appear in the Dock.

The problem may have stemmed from me messing around with OpenOffice's font folder without realizing that I had it open but minimized.

Any suggestions on getting rid of it, short of logging out?

no suggestions. it's probably got some callback issues with aqua and the dock. killing the dock might refresh it's state.

Thanks, killing the dock worked. I was surprised that it stayed around even when I quit X11, but I realized that the icon didn't have the little app mini-icon, so the Dock was very much screwed up. I'd still kind of like to know what caused it, so I can avoid it in the future... but I'm guessing it's just one of those mystery problems. <sigh>
