Reading this thread (http://forums.macosxhints.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8789) might explain. There seems to be a problem with the servers.

Yep, some sort of glitch that seems to hit around 4:02am local (Eastern) time ... tonight we've moved some tasks back from that time to 11:00pm just to see what happens ...
