Perfomence of Ipodtouch/Iphone and Memory 8/16/32 GB models.

I know that touch units are about 1/3 faster in CPU speed. What I was wondering though is for those not looking to mostly do email and Web and of course Phone with the Iphone is there a difference in performance with units with more memory e.g. 16GB or 32GB of memory?

The 16 or 32 GB of memory you're referring to is used for storage, not as RAM. As far as I know, the performance doesn't change based on the amount of disk space.

Thank you for the response. I believe the flash ram is used for OS, apps, and storage, hence the question since I thought more ram might make the unit faster, though there is no other slower storage for things to be off loaded to.

Actually, the iPod Touch is faster than the iPhone.
