Maybe it's a dumb question, but here I go:
right now I'm using Apple X11 and installed system-xfree86 4.2-6 with Fink. I'm playing with KDE right now and wanted to install kdemultimedia3 and kdegraphics (through fink install). For both packages, Fink wants to install xfree86-rootless-threaded and related dependencies. Wouldn't that conflict with my X11 installation? Why Fink needs those packages?
I know it is possible to install both Apple X11 and XDarwin, but I'd like to know how to do it without messing everything.
I forgot - here's the info about Fink:
Package manager version: 0.12.0
Distribution version: 0.5.1.cvs
Thanks
