Remove contacts and calendar from iPod?

Does anyone know how to get rid of the contacts and calendar info form an iPod? I've got a 5 gig one, and simply don't use all that stuff. It's easy to put it on there, but I can't figure out how to remove it! Thanks in advance- Jay

You should be able to delete it by enabling the firewire disk mode and deleting the contacts and calendar folders.

Thanks, that did it. The folders just seemed so small. I've got tons of contacts, and it's only 44 K. So much for reclaiming space! Seems like there should be an option to do those things in iSync.
