to do list and notes

I just got an iPod Touch (2nd gen) and I am really digging it. I have everything set up the way i like it, but i have noticed three things that are not the way I was expecting so far.

1) the iCal calendar colors did not sync up with the ipod. From my reading there is a couple workarounds for this.

2) I might be missing something but the to do list in iCal does not seem to go over to the iPod Touch? or am i missing something?

3) I was expecting the notes on the iPod Touch to sync up with the notes in mail on the mac, but they don't seem to? am I wrong in assuming this?

As far as I'm aware, you're correct about all three. Well, the todo list should show up in your corresponding Mail account, but I'm not sure how the syncing works between iCal and Mail.

There are 3rd party ToDo apps which support syncing with a desktop.
