Is there a reliable tool to remove the EU volume limit on a new 2nd gen Ipod Shuffle - I can only find solutions that require you to "boost" the ipod every time it is resynced (+ upon syncing Itunes recognizes that the songs have been tampered with and replaces them...
Do you know a more permanent way to remove the volume limitation?

PS: I used "iPodVolumeBooster" and a few other mac-based solutions but they seem to all work the same way - changing Index files within in the shuffle's playlist architecture.
