Can't update to 10.5.4

one of the company iMacs says that it cant update from 10.5.3 to 10.5.4 as the 'patcher application cant be verified'

I presume that the 10.5.4 (via software update) update is corrupt... and I should trash it and download it again???

Is that the best thing to do..? and does anyone know where that file is stored?

It's probably in /Library/Packages

Some people have found problems with Software Update, and prefer to download from the Apple website. I always like to have a copy of the latest Combi updater, in any case.
