"Desktop" is unnecessary in that folder. the 'plist' file doesn't belong and is probably the result of a past attempt at backing up everything. The previous iTunes Libraries are from past upgrades and can be disposed of. The Temp files are from something you did last January (toss them).
Everything else should remain. They all have a reason to be there. After disposing of the above files, you should backup the entire iTunes Library folder.
