Hey,
I have roughly 20 or so iMac's running snow leopard, I have them setup on a Windows 2003 domain Active Directory structure... Users login into the mac's using their AD logins and can access there work which appears as a network drive because I have filled in the Home Folder path under the profile tab. Now to get down to the issue.... Any users who login and save something to the desktop rather than their own network folder then logs into a different mac don't have their work appear on the desktop of that mac as the desktop documents are still stored on the first mac. Is there a way to get the desktops to link to the windows network share rather than saving to the local mac? (sick to death of telling users til i'm blue in the face to save their work to the network drive) Any help you could give would be greatly received.... cheers |
