If this isn't a laptop, check your building's wiring. Is it grounded properly? Do you have a ups?

Sorry for this late answer… Now, no it isn't a laptop, it's a Mac Pro (Intel). Yes, it's "plugged" on an UPC(S) 650 battery. But I checked the connections, and they all appear to be OK (well plugged). ![]() Any other trick(s), advice(s)? Thank you for any suggestion… Have a good day. - Dimitri |

When you next shutdown your computer, also unplug all peripherals and disconnect the computer from all networks.
Does the computer still restart? |

Get a circuit tester. The kind you plug into the outlet and it tells you if your wiring is correct (no ground, reversed hot/neutral, etc.) |
