Can I password a CCC image already made?
I successfully created a CCC image today..a sparse image of one of my boot volumes.
I would like to put a password on it such that it presents a password field for you to enter the correct password as a requirement for it to open. I don't see any way to do this. The closest thing is in Disk Utility>Images>Change Password... but when I select that option, and click on the image in question, nothing happens. am I missing a step, or is it not possible to do what I want? thank you! a |

Drag the sparse image file into the left column of Disk Utility if it's not there already. Select it and click the Convert button. Choose a destination and set encryption at the bottom of the window before clicking Save.
