ppc mac mini, ram and genral upgrades?

ive just been given this mac mini. it has 1.42ghz ppc processor. the ram at the moment is only 256, but i would like to upgrade it to the most possible.
ive done some research and the 'recommend' maximum is 1g, can it take more? is it possible to over-clock the processor?

whats the biggest and fastest harddisc i can fit? is the cd drive replaceable for a superdrive?

Your PPC mini has one memory slot. Maximum is a 1 GB chip (PC3200 DDR RAM)
No overclocking possible.
The mini takes a 2.5-inch PATA hard drive.
I haven't seen any 7200 RPM PATA laptop drives for a year or so.
5400 RPM is the max, and probably at the most - 320 GB
Here's an upgrade superdrive - http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/mac-mini/superdrive/

Actually, that is about the last Mac that can be over-clocked. To as much as 1.54GHz. I personally don't recommend it, but a quick Google search will find the how-tos.
