How to speed up the system help

Hello!

Some time ago, I read in this site a couple of very useful hints about how to optimize the OS help system. I recall it involved trashing some files, but as I can't find my notes I don't know which ones...

I tried to search macosxhints but the search gives me too many results.

Does anyone knows which files are to be deleted (Mac OS X 10.5)?

Thanks in advance!

This hint is dated 2002 and is for Jaguar (10.2).

It would be unwise to assume that your problem (on 10.5) has the same cause or the same solution.
