Orangeware driver and Leopard

I can't get the Orangeware wireless drive to work with Leopard. I think it may have to do with incompatibility due to the different operating system. I really hope that's not the case because Orangeware hasn't released anything since '06. Anyone else know of this?

I "lost" my card too. The system doesn't even recognize the PCI-card. Are there any hope of fix?

subject RE: Mac driver broken in Leopard
sent from orangeware.com

We do not support Mac OS X 10.5 and an update for this is not planned at
this time. Sorry.

Well what can one say...

I think I'll go for a new card with the Ralink chipset, such as the Edimax nMax. It's n-compatible and the driver is actually written by the producer of the actual chipset used.

xlr8yourmac.com has a page devoted to 802.11n on the mac.

Do you know if those are compatible with Leopard?

You might consider upgrading to a Quickertek card. They've already got Leopard updates for their PCI card.

One of the techs at OWC,who sells Edimax (www.macsales.com) have tested the 10.4 drivers with Leopard and confirmed that they worked. At least this is what I was told by a support guy in a live chat today.
